Hey there! I’m Annie, the artist and creative mind behind Evelry Designs. If you’re reading this, you’re here for the very first blog post, which makes this introduction all the more exciting and nerve wracking!
A little about me—I’m a wife, mom of three amazing kids, and a proud parent to three fur-babies. I speak in meme’s and emoji’s, I have a sarcastic sense of humor but a deep love for the people in my life. I’ve always had a creative spark, but I only took the leap to pursue my dream of being a full-time artist a few years ago. And let me tell you, it’s been an adventure!
Through Evelry Designs, I get to explore my passion for surface pattern design and abstract painting, with a signature love for bold colors and playful patterns. My art is all about capturing the beauty and joy in everyday moments, and I’m here to share that inspiration with you.
So, what can you expect here on the blog? I’ll be taking you behind the scenes in my studio to give you a peek into my process, the tools I can’t live without, and all the trial-and-error moments that make art such an adventure. I’ll be sharing how-to’s on everything from creating your own designs to tips on what to look for in art supplies. I might even throw in a list of my favorite podcasts or the artists who inspire me daily and any other fun and exciting things that happen along the way!
I plan on releasing a new post at least once a month (🤞), though if there’s something exciting happening (like a new collection, a special project, or something that just can’t wait), I’ll be jumping on here to share the news.
